The Lorax

Last night, we watched "Dr. Seuss' the Lorax" at GSC Suria Sabah. I've plan to watch this movie since I saw a grumpy yet charming creature (Lorax) in the cinema. The Lorax is based on Dr. Seuss' children book. I've never read this book before. This is the third Dr. Seuss feature film released by Universal. This movie is freaking funny which will make ur ROFL. ;)

Funny fishes.
Same as "Seefood" this movie aim to raise the awareness of jungle preservation to the public. We all know trees are so important to our environment, without trees we will unable to maintain a balance ecosystem. All living thing is depends on the tree. Without jungle, lot's of animal will lose their home. Some selfish business man may take this stupid action by chooping down the tree to get more and more profit. But, we should not easily chop down the tree as tree takes up to 10 years to become a mature tree.

Overall rating for this movie is 9/10 from me. If you haven't watch it, take a peak on this trailer first. Enjoy!

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not. ---Dr. Seuss

Seefood - Malaysia first English animation film

I watched this movie yesterday night with family as my brother already having his school holidays. The movie unavailable in Megalong so have to go to GSC to watch. Like usual, I'll reserve the ticket in GSC website and then redeem it at the counter 45 minutes before showtime. So I save my time on queue.
When the movie begin, we all know that it's Silver Ant Sdn Bhd production.
Then my brother ask: “姐,你看过Silver Ant啊?”
“没有哦。”
“我也是没有看过哦,Pixar我看过啦,好像在模仿P的!”

"Seefood" is literally means Seeing food, so it's not a typing error. LOL.

So, we watch this movie with a question mark, after the movie end, we all have a summary, that's Malaysia film. There's some evidence which reflex the beauty of Malaysia :-
  • we can saw chicken as minor character
  • the voiceover using local slang of english
  • spotted lantern in the bad guy's house
  • saw paddy field with magnificent dawn

Actually this movie worth to see as we can learn a lot of moral value from it. Man always throw the plastic bag to the sea cause sea turtles die from chocking the plastic bag. The irresponsible factories release unprocessed  chemical waste to the sea which will lead to water pollution. There's some business men who are so selfish, crave for profit until they kill a lot of shark for the fins and also took shark's egg which will indirectly destroy the ecosystem or marine food chain.

Pup

I'm sure that some audience feeling curious for what kind of fish is for the smaller one a.k.a main character, Pup. It's actually a bamboo shark which can remain on the land for 12 hours and we usually can found it in touch pool. This means bamboo shark is harmless and safe to touch. Besides, the golden one are shark's embryo. I learnt this from Underwater World Singapore.

The storyline is pretty cool and there's some funny scenes which you can laugh out loud and throw away stress. Overall, my rating is 7/10.

Enjoy the movie and together we support Malaysia.

Magnificent Sunset

This puppy remind me of the miss kastam in Changi Airport. She wants this from me.
Did you fall for the sunset? I fall for the sunset #2. These photos was taken on last week. Every time I saw beautiful sunset, I'll quickly grab my camera to shot the beautiful scenery. Well, sunset only last for few minutes thus we should appreciate every second in our life. 夕阳无限好,只是近黄昏。 I learn the chinese phrase in primary school.

My SPM result will be come out in 18 days. And I really hope that I could excel like my PMR. I can feel that my adrenal gland is produced in big amount. Gosh. Wish I can get flying colour so that I could get the best course and the best Uni. This will be my turning point in my life and I hope I can go to the highway but not jalan kampung yang lintang pukang. LOL.

I usually doesn't ask others to pray for me, but this time. I have to. So for those who love me, pray for my SPM result k? :') Thanks.

DIY: Stitch

I started my own DIY project since I was 10. My first project was beads craft keychain but it failed as I lack of strategic to do it. But I seldom doing DIY as I was busy studying, going school and private tuition, you know how was a primary school students' life nowadays, right?

My second DIY is cross stitch when I was 14 but failed also as I didn't know the correct way to stitch. I thought just simply stitch an X and then move to the next X. But I knew I was totally wrong when my aunty told me the correct ways. So it counted as failed again.

When I was 15, I tried a new one cross stitch with a S size one as I'm a beginner. I follow my aunt's instruction and finally I did it! I own my fist completed DIY project! I gave it to someone special.

After that I haven't done any DIY until I took my SPM. After SPM I have a lot of to-do-stuff in my mind. When I was shopping in Singapore, I bought a stitch set. Right after my vacation, I start my project and I did it successfully. I'm so proud and glad about that. I've decided to whom this little make-up bag belongs to. I'm going to gift to my special one. Hmm, so, this can be counted as my Second completed DIY project!!! *Excited*

Elephant Parade Singapore

Elephant Parade is the largest art exhibition worldwide in preservation of the Asian elephant. Painted by local and international artists, each life-size elephant will be exhibited over several months and then auctioned off by a reown auctioneer. Part of the proceeds of Elephant Parade are donated to The Asian Elephant Foundation.

--- Adapted from Elephant Parade fanpage

Last holiday I went to Singapore and there were elephant expo. The first stop I met the elephants was at the Art Gallery. So I took a brochure about the expo. Hmm, well, there's 126 real-size elephant located around the Singapore. and I've decided to take picture for the elephants as mush as possible. I love all the elephants but I couldn't afford to buy even for the smallest size which costs $72 (if I'm not mistaken). But, I'm happy as now all the elephants was adopted by some generous peoples a.k.a millionaire. They found new home now! Hooray!

A mechanical pencil

I always like to own a cool or cute stationary since I know to write.
My first favourite mechanical pencil was Pilot 2020 when my mum owns one.
I begged my parents to buy it for me but they doesn't.
Ya lah, who want to spend RM8.50 for a 6-year-old girl, right?
That's quite expensive that time.

When I was travel to Singapore, I bought the 2020 in an unconscious mind.
Nah, that was me last minutes buying a pencil before the stationary shop closed to start my diary in Singapore.
I only found I bought a 2020 when I get back to my cousin's home.
I bought a red one and I used it until I was 12 and the pencil is totally "hangkang".

When I was 16, I bought a pink rexgrip on purpose in Popular bookstore.
Unfortunately, I lost my sexy pencil right after the Biology paper 3 (the last paper).
Then, I coundn't spend much more time to find the pencil as I was rushing to pack my things before going back to home.

So, I don't own any mechanical pencil now.
It's such ashamed for me as a student.
LOL.
Well, I'm waiting for my SPM result now,
so I will no longer need a pencil NOW.
But not  for the upcoming months.

Well, I'm going to buy a new Pilot soon,
before I continue my journey as a student.
*wink*

Memories at the beach

The only photo and it's blur.

The pretty young lady on the picture above is my cousin. She occupied most of my childhood days. I used to so close to her, follow her whenever she go or tell her my secrets. I remember that she taught me mystic things that I almost 100% believe it. Haha! And she is my idol during those days that I almost follow what she did and bla.. bla... bla... I enjoy the time being with her and I (used to) wish that have such a lovely sister like her. But, that's my childish thought and I know I should appreciate for what I have now. Since she moved Klang, we rarely meet and really miss her.

Last month, she were back to Sabah during her holiday when we did met up and hang out together to Tanjung Aru Beach. We went there with her others siblings and I did enjoy the moments. The beach remind me of our bittersweet memories in Kuala Penyu. Next time I hope that I could visit her at her place.

Did you spotted the sand crab?

Her leg when she want to step on the shifty sand.
